Another winter term is coming to a close and what a busy bunch you’ve been! We’re loving the photos you’ve been sharing on social media about your best Christmas Fair ideas, and have picked some festive crackers to feature on this week’s blog. [Originally published in December 2015]
Best Christmas Fair photos - Santa's Grotto
We love this colourful grotto created by The Croft Primary School PTA:
Springfield Primary School PTA used lighting and some choice props to create a magical atmosphere in their grotto.
Holywood PTA came up with a cute and cosy look – we especially like the felt flames!
Paddocks PTA provided the thrilling illusion of a snowy scene.
And some beautiful props can make all the difference to create a gorgeous grotto, as demonstrated here by Friends of St Mary’s School Yate.
Best Christmas Fair photos - Pine Cone Competition!
We were most impressed with the entries in the pine cone decorating competition held by Modbury Primary School PTA.
Did your school do something similar? Send us your pictures!
Best Christmas Fair photos - Christmas Fair Stalls
Here’s a peek at what other PTAs have been up to this year to raise money at their Christmas Fair…
This Reindeer Rodeo held by Friends of Goodrich looks like amazing fun!
Meanwhile Carolside PTA had a Guess the Name of the Reindeer competition. What do you think it’s name is?
And the incredibly generous school community at Norris Bank Primary PTA had a humongous stash to give away at the chocolate tombola and bottle tombola stalls!
Check out these lovely Christmas-themed treats — how cute are these Snowmen by FOSPA Chippenham, and that Santa cake by The Grange C.P. PTFA will take some beating!
Over to you!
